Searches with accents do not work (age-old problem still not resolved)

Search for photos does not work when either typing search criteria that contains accents or clicking on tags that have accents.

The last time a staff member closed a Help Forum post concerning this subject was sometime in 2020, with the comment "we're working on it", but I see no improvement or solution.

On the other hand, I do find that, in general, search has greatly improved for me recently. I now get results where I used to get blank pages.
