Flickr Scout

John Hickey - fotosbyjohnh says:

Third Party BigHuge Labs operate Flickr Scout which tracks photos in Flickr Explore. It provides a range of options including Photos in Explore, Photos added by Year, Dropped, Recently added and option to exlcude dropped. It also provides option ot delete dropped photos. Up to recently I was able to use these options on my own Computer but now have only read only status. It seems to be linked to Account status. I can still use the options an on a different Computer. I cant contact BigHugeLabs to find out why and how to get back the options on my own Computer. Can anyone help please. Thanks

On the BigHugeLabs page at the very top, do you see a link for "Link Flickr account"? Do that. You may also need to check a box at some point that grants permission to BHL to access your account.

mag3737:Thank you. Yes I have linked my Flickr Account. This seems to have caused the problem where I have my read only a status in Scout. In the past I was able to open Scout, type in my Flickr name and Scout provided details on my photos that have been in Explore. I was able to use the different options in Scout like recently added, droped etc.

At some stage I clicked on the option to link my Flickr account. This gave BigHuge Labs read only access to my Flickr Account. Problem is that I now also have read only status in Scout. Scout tells me the total number of photos that have been in Explore with a collage of those photos. I cannot click on any other options. How can I get those option back. I cannot contact BigHuge Labs. I did send an email buit got no reply Thanks
