This receding storm produced a tornado a mile from where I lived. The colors and layers were amazing, and no one photo can quite convey the grandeur. Colors ranged from icy turquoise to intense golds and pinks, and everything was swirling and counter-swirling.

Five minutes after I took this photograph it rained heavily and even hailed.

April on the Norwegian west coast 2016

I was just in my house and I looked outside and saw this. It was a little creepy. I love cool cloud formations.

As the sky has been pretty much grey and boring for a while now, I went digging in the archives for Smile on Saturday - Clouds

Some really neat clouds in this view looking east that were lit up by the setting sunlight from the west.
