Was going to post this tomorrow but as it has a fence in it here it is!. Male blackbird getting agitated with my cat Billie, must be nesting.
I went out to the Garden City pier to test out a new lens, it was pretty cloudy and grey as a thunderstorm had just passed by, so I did not expect much, but then the sunset had a little surprise for me :)

My grandfather was buried under a rhododendron bush similar to this. These flowers also grow wild in the Himalayan mountains and can be seen blooming during spring. They have some natural beauty to them that's hearty and feels like both a bush and a delicate flower. The mountain here has low fog, and high clouds, a rare event to capture, the reflection was barely visible of the mountain sticking out from underneath the fog.
... while I was taking a walk through my garden, I saw beautiful swallowtails and couldn't help but take a picture of them...

The spotted garden eel (Heteroconger hassi) is a small fish that can reach a maximum length of 40 centimetres (16 in; 1.3 ft). Its body is anguiform (eel-like): long, thin, with a circular cross-section (14 millimetres (0.55 in) in average diameter) and a head of the same diameter as the body. The head appears shortened because the large mouth is close to the also large eyes. Nostrils are small and positioned in the center of the upper lip.
The body is white and covered with many small black spots. The spotted garden eel has three larger distinctive black spots; the first identifies the gills opening and the position of the tiny pectoral fins, the second is located in the central part of the body and the third one surrounds the anus. Juveniles have a very thin black body. Romblon Philippines.
Every Monday my gardeners come. I can still do the creative part but not the physical part. They're wonderful! Now I'm taking pictures of what they do as a way to keep track of what needs to be done.
