The weather can change very rapidly in the mountains and after some time and a cup of tea, the sun was there! And the whole world looks better then ;-)
Sometimes it might look that we fade away in the "fog"...
The uncertainty makes it difficult to navigate and now, it seems that every day is a walk in the fog...
But even then the sun is there...
We all have a bit of light... We all hold a little piece of the sun...
The sun bids adieu to Mt. Babel, Mt. Quadra and Bident Mt.
They form the Continental Divide in this section, separating Alberta and British Columbia.
These peaks reward those driving towards Moraine Lake.
Beauty all around.

Have a wonderful weekend, hopefully not too hot.
So, much like I recently acquired a 10-24mm lens, I also squired a 50-140 Telephoto. I have a Teleconverter for it, but I wanted a bit more reach for some of the Elk in the area. This is the sun dropping down at Cowee Mountain Overlook on the Blue Ridge parkway in North Carolina. It was a pleasure to be up there in the chilly fall air, first day of October getting some new shots, and trying out the techniques with these new lenses.
ISO: 160
Aperture: f6.4
SS: 1/30th
Focal: 140mm
No Filters, Just setup on my tripod, trying to avoid lens flare from shooting into the big ball of light.
Another blast from the sun taken in Hillock Wood, Buckinghamshire. I was chasing the light beams and they were few and far between but when they did happen, well they were just magical.
