Mrs. Rena Lee, Ambassador for Oceans and Law of the Sea Issues and Special Envoy of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore, was elected President of the Conference at the beginning of the organizational meeting of the Conference, held from 16 to 18 April 2018.
The Conference, at its first session, elected 15 Vice-Presidents to the Bureau of the Conference, as follows: Algeria, the Bahamas, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Japan, Mauritius, Mexico, the Federated States of Micronesia, Morocco, Poland, the Russian Federation and the United States of America.
